Dahlia 'Fleur' in NDS Group 5(a) Named for Dr Andreas Dahl, an 18th century Swedish botanist. The Dahlia was brought to Spain from its native Mexico in the late 1780s. Its first introduction to Britain was in 1798. (NDS) is National Dahlia Society classified directory Fleur in Group Decorative is in The World Dahlia Directory of over 57,000 dahlias. Raised by Boer, Vd in the Netherlands and introduced in 2004. |
