Dahlia 'Wittem' in NDS Group 5(d) Named for Dr Andreas Dahl, an 18th century Swedish botanist. The Dahlia was brought to Spain from its native Mexico in the late 1780s. Its first introduction to Britain was in 1798. (NDS) is National Dahlia Society classified directory Wittem in Group Decorative Small-flowered Dwarf Bedder White and Pink Blends is in The World Dahlia Directory of over 57,000 dahlias. Raised by Bruidegom in the Netherlands and introduced in 1970. |

"Creamy White with a very subtle lilac sheen over the petals. Height 55cm. Medium blooms" from R. V. Roger. Plant 3-4 inches deep and 24 inches apart during March-May. Loved by butterflies and bees. Support with a stout stick and tie in every fortnight. Bedding plant.
