Climbing form. Pruning Group 11; prune in late winter or early spring. Roseland House Garden & Nursery states: "Hardy in the South of England, so train over a support on a wall or fence, but in frost-prone areas further North plant deeply in a cool greenhouse and protect with a 4 inch deep mulch of organic compost in the winter/spring. Requires full light and protection from cold winds." Wikipedia states "It smothers trees and other vegetation it grows on and can easily break branches and bring down entire trees on its own. If fragments end up in waterways, they are easily transported to new locations in this manner." Available from Roseland House. |
