Soil

Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring.

Tolerant of Poor Soils, so broadcast rose fertilizer in early summer as well.

Abundant, almost rosette-shaped, pure white blooms in cascading clusters, sometimes singly, with mild fragrance.

Flowering is in the Summer only. Slightly fragrant.

Comment

One of the best white ramblers. Growth pliable with ample, stubby thorns.

Good for Procumbent or wide-growing Ground-cover. Grow into trees.
