Comment |
Sport of Rosa filipes, found at Kiftsgate Court in Gloucestershire. A strong, vigorous climber capable of climbing to considerable heights. It tolerates considerable shade and consequently it is an ideal subject for climbing into trees. Also an effective ground cover, but only where its enthusiasm can be left unchecked (put it with lawn edges so that the rotary mower can stop its advances!). Good for Climber or Pillar rose. Ground-cover. Grow into trees. Available from Apuldram Roses, David Austin Rose Nursery Limited, Rumwood Nurseries , R.V. Roger Ltd and from Peter Beales Roses. For further details on the cultivation of roses, consult the Royal National Rose Society. |
