Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring. Tolerant of Poor Soils, so broadcast rose fertilizer in early summer as well. |

Single, bright fiery-orange with reverse yellow flowers which occasionally revert to the original yellow and sometimes both colours appear on the plant simultaneously. Flowering is in one flush in the Summer only. Suffers from Black Spot. |
