Soil |
Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring. |

Deep yellow blooms with unusually firm petals. The perfectly shaped 3.5 inch diameter blooms are borne on strong stems. It has a long flowering period and the ability to retain its rich colour well into maturity. Flowering is Repeatedly throughout the summer. Moderately fragrant. |

Comment |
One of the best Hybrid Teas for bedding and mass planting. A vigorous and bushy plant. It flowers freely. Highly recommended by the nurseries. Very disease resistant. Good for bedding or planting in groups, where it requires spring frost protection (Use 3 inch deep mulch of organic material applied in February and removed in November).
