Rosa 'Peer Gynt'

Soil

Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring.

Tolerant of Poor Soils, so broadcast rose fertilizer in early summer as well.

Rich clear Yellow brushed Red at the edges of the petals has flowering which is Continuous throughout summer. Slightly fragrant.

Besides being a lone shrub it is suitable for being:-

• Good for bedding or planting in groups.
• Hedging.
• Good for cutting.
• Grow in pots.
