Soil |
Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring. Tolerant of Poor Soils, so broadcast rose fertilizer in early summer as well. |

Perhaps the deepest copper shade of all Hybrid Teas blended with yellow blooms open from high pointed centres to become large, full and cupped. The flowers are held singly or in small clusters, and it is free-flowering. Repeat Flowering is throughout the summer. Slightly fragrant. |
