Soil

Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring.

Tolerant of Poor Soils, so broadcast rose fertilizer in early summer as well.

Large, fully double ruffled blooms of rich apricot flushed orange and scarlet, some yellow in certain weather conditions, produced in clusters.

Flowering is Continuous throughout the summer. Moderately fragrant.

Comment

Growth upright, tall, bushy and healthy.

Good for bedding or planting in groups. Hedging. Grow in pots.
