Rosa 'Starship' (Syn. Rosa 'BRIstar')

Mini-Flora roses are a new classification adopted by the American Rose Society in 1999.   Another evolution of the rose, the blooms and foliage size are between a miniature and full size roses.  

The height is usually around 2.5 to 4 ft.  The blooms are larger than miniatures and come in many colors and bloom forms.

Soil

Roses prefer acidic soil of pH 6.5 (sand) but will tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 7.5 (chalk). Mix 25 lts farmyard manure, or pulverized tree bark with bone meal, in soil before planting. Broadcast rose fertilizer in early Spring.
