Turf reinforcement for car parking and to stop dogs digging up the lawn |
GridLok Elite (New for 2013) GridLok Elite is manufactured from 100% recycled polypropylene to form an interlocking permeable paving system which can be filled with gravel or grass. It can be used as part of a sustainable urban drainage system and doesn't require planning permission. GridLok Elite can withstand constant pedestrian traffic and vehicular traffic of up to 40 tonnes per square metre making it more than capable of handling virtually all domestic applications. It is quick and easy to install and won't crack or rot. Pavers have built in ground spikes to stabilise each panel. For best results this should be laid down in spring when the grass will grow quickly through the mesh and the root mass will interlock with the mesh filaments. |

Duo Sports fencing is a twin wire panel, which consists of two 8mm horizontal wires welded either side of the vertical wires. Safe play is ensured as the panel ends are covered with a continuous clamp bars to eliminate the risk of catching on the wires. Duo sports fencing even includes special rubber inserts so that noise is reduced from ball impacts; a feature that is highly appreciated and essential in residential areas. |

Tree Pit Porous Paving System to use for tree in centre of Driveways |
EP Addastone TP or PU Addastone TP UV Resin mixed with a graded natural or recycled aggregate provides a decorative, seamless and porous surface around tree pits or areas requiring a porous surface. The achieved finish provides a durable surface without the inconvenience of escaping surface aggregate. Therefore preventing the common problem of tree pits becoming a trap for litter or loose aggregate filler being spread across surrounding areas is quickly resolved. Pity that this system is not used in supermarket car parks, where the resin layer could be graduated to 2 inches (5 cms) higher than the paving to prevent loose trolleys from removing the cambium layer on the tree trunks and killing the tree (still I am expecting the next visitor - number 9 - at approximately 10:16 on the 15th January 2018 to read this before instantly informing the supermarkets; and then for them to ignore the advice). Instead of putting the tree in the middle of the path, put it to 1 side so that there is sufficient room for a trolley plus kids/dog/husband to go past as well without them or the trolley damaging the tree. |

Tripod ladders are the most practical access solution for gardeners, landscapers and tree surgeons:- Their 3 legs, broad base and telescopic rear leg make them suitable for use on uneven ground, slopes and steps. They offer the perfect solution for pruning hedges due to their triangular footprint giving an easy working position and their stability which does not require a second man to support the ladder. Tripod ladders save you time and money while making your work so much easier. |

Tarmac rake is a heavy duty rake. 16 round tooth. All steel construction including 1500mm heavy gauge tubular handle. It is very unlikely that in raking your flower beds or your Type I Roadstone as a sub-base for your drive, patio or paths, that you will break the tines or handle of this rake in your lifetime - mine has lasted 21 years of garden construction and maintenance. |

TERRAM geocell tree root protection is a cellular confinement system designed as the perfect solution for tree root protection where a road, access route or driveway is required - Particularly where a TPO (Tree Protection Order) is in force. The system not only stabilises the ground, but ensures that the roots beneath are protected from heavy vehicle forces on the surface. TERRAM geocell is supplied flat packed and is easily opened to form the cell structure and is simply pinned to the ground using our TERRAM geocell pins. TERRAM geocell tree root protection ensures that downward forces by vehicles are spread laterally reducing loads on the underlying soils. Without the cellular system, the surface would become compacted and rutted with the forces pushing downwards damaging the tree roots and resulting in the possible death of the tree. TERRAM geocell tree root protection system is suitable for permanent woodland trails, paths, driveways, roads, access routes and parking areas. It may also be used as a temporary ground reinforcement where access to a site is limited by the presence of trees.Once operations on site are completed the temporary surface can easily be removed and the ground left undamaged. |

I have finally managed to find how to care for this Dulally Bird from "The Care and Feeding of Stuffed Animals" by Glen Knape, as mentioned in the book "How to Avoid Huge Ships and Other Implausibly Titled Books" by Joel Rickett. The Bookseller/Diagram Prize for Oddest Title of the Year, originally known as the Diagram Group Prize for the Oddest Title at the Frankfurt Book Fair, commonly known as the Diagram Prize for short, is a humorous literary award that is given annually to the book with the oddest title. The prize is named after the Diagram Group, an information and graphics company based in London, and The Bookseller, a British trade magazine for the publishing industry. |

The Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest (BLFC) is a tongue-in-cheek contest held annually and is sponsored by the English Department of San Jose State University in San Jose, California. Entrants are invited "to compose the opening sentence to the worst of all possible novels" – that is, deliberately bad. It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents, except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness. The first year of the competition attracted just three entries, but it went public the next year, received media attention, and attracted 10,000 entries. There are now several subcategories, such as detective fiction, romance novels, Western novels, and purple prose. Sentences that are notable but not quite bad enough to merit the Grand Prize or a category prize are awarded Dishonorable Mentions. |

There are 720 roses in the Rose Galleries; many of which have the above series of pictures in their respective Rose Description Page. So one might avoid the disappointment that the 2 elephants had when their trunks were entwined instead of them each carrying their trunk using their own trunk, and your disappointment of buying a rose to discover that the colour you bought it for is only the case when it has its juvenile flowers; if you look at all the photos of the roses in the respective Rose Description Page!!!! |
